Year 2009 "Grant for supporting product development by small manufacturing businesses"Experimental results
Understanding the metal mold castability and material properties for the permanent mold casting technique used for lead-free and cadmium-free brass material-an environmentally-friendly new material-and establishing permanent mold casting mass production technology for casting parts made from this material.
This trial production experiment was planned and conducted by Kitamura Faucet utilizing government projects for supporting trial production and development.
Environmentally-friendly copper alloy material with consideration of Pb and Cd contents is already on the market. We will continue to search for beneficial methods for utilization of environmentally-friendly materials, with a focus on production method as well as on materials.
